Lonely Men

One thing for sure, people today are either bipolar or lonely. Many of them troll online or even at many tourist destinations around the globe. How can you maintain a "personal space" from these people, especially men?

Well, if you're female, and a social network savvy, you'd know right there and then who's sincere and who's just there to get someone who can stand their everyday frustrations, and loneliness. They're the ones who would call you "dear", "honey", and other silly endearments in which only couples use (applicable to opposite sex only). I meant they even give you "hugs and kisses" messages as well as "I love you's", and you'd think they meant it. Heck NO!

They'd tell you how "awesome", "sexy", "smart" you are, and even tell you that you're their inspiration, that you changed their life, that "his" life has never been the same since "he" met you! It's ridiculous, but well reality bites and it poisons your being you that you'd end up cursing them. But what can you do then? NOTHING... next time just be more careful.

Yup, they like you because you make them feel better, and this also applies to those men sun tanning at the white sands. they wanted you because they don't want to be alone. Well, if virtual friends can flirt as much as they can, these men at the beach can do more. If you're a woman esp ASIAN, be careful because they would just start a chitchat and most likely would drive you crazy with their sweet tongues. Then you'd just wake up at a small room beside and A-Hole who would F-up the next day. I'm proud to say that I'm smart enough not to fall for their bait whether virtual or in person.

I'm not questioning those liberated women who are up to these kinds of activities. This is my say on my personal preference when it comes to starting a romantic relationship with a man.  In short, WOMEN SHOULDN'T TRUST ANY MAN!

Gloomy

11°C Ha Noi...

In addition to a foggy, rainy, cloudy, gloomy, Ha Noi, I feel like the air is too musty that it's hard to breathe. I have to admit that I'm feeling lonely and empty not because I've got no one to talk to nor share my emotions with.

The thing is, no matter how much effort I do to convince myself that I'm fine, I just cant. Every bit of disappointment hits me straight to my "pigheaded" ego telling me that I'm just an "option" or someone silly enough to "wait" until he'd tell me that I'll never have those dreams we had this time last year.

I don't want to be negative but I can't help but get more depressed... Oh God, my tears just want to fall now on the wooden table, right in front of my students' curious minds.

Oblivion

Me, Now and...

Leaving my fate to the heaven,
For there's nothing I can change.
Now, this life is an oblivion.
No one knows which page,
Should I stop dreamin'.

Somehow, this is silly,
To read between the lines,
Those days, I've waited solely,
Will you tell me once,
That I'm your only lady?

I said, I'd leave it to fate,
As it doesn't have to be fake.
What are you thinking, by the way?
Should I say, let's have a separate way?
Well, OK I'd wait for the next dawn to break!

You and I are indefinite beings,
In this world full of hesitations,
And selfishness and paranoia.
Come be brave and say, "I got ya!"
So my mind would  confidently say, YEAH!

For those hearts are broken but full of hopes!

Thought we were the luckiest visitors in town because when we came back from the wet market, Cuong had already finished making some boiled veggies and some other dishes. Are We on the Same PAGE?

Something is wrong with what I saw this morning... I meant it wasn't a big deal I bet but somehow it was a lil disturbing. Honestly, until now I'm still confused with who I am in your life, whether you're doing something to make this sh*t work. Would you just keep telling me those promising words that you used to say? You just said that you don't trust words but actions. I hope one morning when you wake up, you'd think about it...ponder on the things that have been going on.

Each day, you're just making me more confused and paranoid. I'm matured enough to comprehend things, inevitable circumstances, and especially you... I've fully understood where we are, what we've been through... who you are and how complicated your life is. I don't wanna argue with that anymore because I respect you and yes 'love you.'  But how can you assure me that we're going to that same direction together, or are we still on the same page?

2014 And its Memories

December 30th, 2014- Tuesday

Bible verse for this post: “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19 (KJV-Bible by Tecarta)

Note: This blog is written mainly for mom… so I’ll be posting all her selfies here.

The storm ‘Seniang’ hit the southern Cebu last night December 29th with a signal number 2. It was my first time (well, after at least 10-12 years of not spending the holiday season with my parents) to sleep with a fierce wind in the middle of the night. Oh…that felt horrible, though.

Anyhow, the sun confidently showed up this morning, so I didn’t miss the chance of taking my mom’s photos. The waves were still mad though, yet I managed to have my mom ‘pose’ for the memories that we have in 2014, just in time before 2015 hands me in with its bright promises of more love, health and longer life, better job, more travels and financial blessings.
after three shots, she managed to get 'almost' the angle that i wanted her to do... LOL

i like it when she smiles like that...u know why? BECAUSE when i see her smiling, I feel relieved that she'll get stronger.

one of my favourites

i still recall what she looks like when she gets mad at me hahaha

and sometimes when she's frustrated with her husband and my older brother --s-she does this most of the time

we love u no matter how stubborn u are.. God bless u Ma.

In 2015, I’d choose to forgive and make the most out of this exciting gift of life from God. I also couldn’t thank the Lord for the blessings I’ve had this year. Those tough months were nothing because of His Grace.

Thank you Lord for Panther who has stayed with me and Teddy since December 2013, also to Barbie and family who have never failed to bring me so much love and smiles, to Katrina my kapatid who, despite our distance has been there to pray for me, to Geleen who has been my cry and laugh buddy as well as my sister, too. Of course to Goldameir who has never given up on me especially as a prayer partner and a counselor, to Pamela who has inspired many people including me, to Suan Gon who always appreciates every emotion I have in my blog, to Junco who always shares her delicious meals with me, to Cecile who has showed me that life is worth living, to Laurent- a brilliant photographer, writer, traveler and friend, to Masahito Iguchi who has been there for me to listen to my never-ending frustrations, depressions etc.,  to Lovella who never tires to cheer me up in every way possible, and to my bro Rheymil who has found his call as a nurse to help those in need. God bless all of you!

Hmnn…and who would forget my immediate family? I pray that the Lord would protect them with His mighty arms and keep them safe each day. That they may not cease to give thanks and worship our Almighty Father. I declare, “No weapon formed against them shall prosper.”… that they may have a prosperous 2015 with the blessings of life and love.

For those whom I haven’t mentioned in my declarations yet, here are some of them with whom I’ve been thankful for, too. Please bless them with whatever their hearts desire so they can be a blessing to others in need.

ShoNique: She’s a blessing because she was born to love the youth and to inspire not only them but her family and friends for being a superb writer and a fighter.
T Brown- my sister in G+
Roxy May and Ms D- my sincere friends in G+, too
Zozo Eema- my soul sister who always reminds me how awesome life is
Larry- though he still believes that I’m a man, I know that he somehow includes me in his prayers
Jet and Duy- my weekend escape partners in Hoan Kiem
Kien- I know that he’s always concerned with how I guard my heart and plan my future dreams.

I’m sure there are still hundreds of people that I haven’t mentioned here…you know who you are and you’re also in my heart and prayers.

Happy New Year 2015, everyone!!!

Spare Me A Positive Thought

@Starbucks Ayala, Center Cebu

December 20th, 2014 -Saturday

It was a long day yesterday that I wasn't able to go home...didn't have a choice but stay in the city centre. Now having some Toffee Nut Latte while waiting for Rheymil.

Hmnn..since I arrived in my hometown, I've observed so many things both negative and positive.

The People: Regardless of the gender, age and social status, they seem to be more open-minded and a lot busier that you can't even (I'm sure) have a quality chitchat with them. Some of them eat too much fast food (more than those years while I was still in Cebu). By the way, women particularly have made more effort to look better and at the same time wear shorter and more daring attire in public. I'm not saying that it's bad, just what my own naked eyes have realized, or maybe I'm too old for the 21st century to comprehend such habits because I still have this a lil bit of being "conservative" in a way that sometimes, somehow I break rules as long as I know my limitations.

Cost of Living:  Everything in the town is expensive that I had a hard time looking for a nice, affordable tank top yesterday. It looks like people haven't thought of working harder and earn more instead of spending their little savings on things that they don't need, or perhaps take more time to do something which would help them invest in a small business rather than wasting time window-shopping (in which I'm also guilty of doing so).  These made me get more stress while strolling around the city---with so many questions in mind.

Well, what am I gonna do? There's only one thing for sure- finish the contract in FPT and try my luck in other countries for a better pay as well as a more exciting experience. Then, what's next? Dunno yet...God knows where am I heading...but my only wish this Christmas and the year 2015 is to have good health for  my family, friends, and Panther.

The Internet: Starbucks is supposed to have at least an hour free wifi for customers in return for their costly coffee and pastries, but heck NO. If only they don't have a good coffee, I wouldn't come here and pay more for a cup of latte in which I can have it cheaper in Vietnam. Since I don't know how to use Globe services, I spend at least a 100-peso card per day. OHHH NOOO!!!  Hmnn if you want a fast internet, try to check-in a hotel and there you'd forget that you're in the Philippines.  Too Expensive and Slow!!!

The Traffic: I thought I'd miss my domestic flight last Wednesday. I had to wait for a cab in Paseo De Roxas Makati for at least 45 minutes to an hour. It took me more than an hour to Terminal 4! Incredible traffic jam anywhere in Manila and the same as in Cebu. The pain of waiting and queuing drain your patience and give you too many pimples in just two days!

P/S: Despite those negative thoughts, I still love staying here. HAHA...was it because I saw a guy with a perfect face yesterday at the Ayala taxi stand? Someone told me that I'd be able to see one in Vietnam. I said, "NO, never will I meet nor see such a perfect face especially in Vietnam!" She laughed and somehow agreed! HAHA...  I meant, the weather in December and summer, the food and the laid back life at home, my cat and mom.

Panther's 360th song: All I Want For Christmas Is You

Photo of the Day: Missing My Musketeers
Hoa Lac goodbyes...see u soon somewhere in Brunei maybe? :)

Got up early, took a very cold shower and yeah it's a bit chilly in the city right now as it's been raining since dawn.  Hmnnn first things first and that was Tofffe Nut Latte (venti) and of course got my new favourite place "Canvas Bistro Bar Gallery" in Ayala Terraces.  Life would be really better later after finishing that "OEC" thingy in POEA. Oh well, I must have this Oz brunch...hope this agrees on my taste.

AND oh I'm kinda excited to meet my long lost younger sibling, Rheymil! See ya tomorrow bro...

Good Morning from Cebu City!

P/S: Missing The Three lovely Musketeers already... (Kiat, Lyana and Masahito)

Escaping with the Family

Highlands Coffee-The Manor

It's been hectic in the past few weeks that I almost forgot everything I wanted to do...I think I can't remember how it feels like to laugh with them, hug them tight and say "goodbye"? Noo... it's just our day today to be together and spend quality time with one another.

Thank you:

Phuong, Duong, Sarah, Doner, Linh, Tuan, Son Hai, Huong, Oanh and Chi...!

Lots of love from me...Happy Holidays!
