Brunei

July 9-13, 2017.

Visiting Brunei was one of the most amazing journeys I've had on my quest to at least learn another culture around Asia. The country is the 3rd richest Muslim country in the world. I'm in love with this peaceful and beautiful country-form its food, history and the people.

The Old Cemetery Site. 

Nine old graves were found in this site.Two of the graves were made from granite with slab shaped gravestones which resembles Sultan Omar Saiffudin I's Tomb located at the Royal Mausoleum Batu 1, Jalan Tutong. It is believed that the graves belong to aristocrats. The grave and tombstones were imported from foreign countries probably from China. The cemetery is believed to be dated around 15th-16th century AD., based on the ceramic findings.
