Behind Blue Eyes

The 8th Song of the Year:  Behind Blue Eyes

No one will ever grasp or get the picture of what you've been through until you find this special person who feels your depressions, heartaches, regrets, and can even make you whole again from those impossible puzzle pieces of cruel, ghastly memories that have been dragging you down to the hell of a ride to mixed emotions.

And behind those springy, willowy lessons in life which have taught you to be more fierce and tougher, there will always be that companion who would never let you go with a sip of love and well-being ready to face your foxy, sinful fate of growing old together.

And yes, Limp Bizkit's, "Behind Blue Eyes" is perfect for my soul mate as he might be someone who is always willing to make others smile though deep inside, he is bleeding and sometimes struggling with his own big, stubborn kid inside him. Anyhow, I can tell you that he is awesome!!!

Cleo is the Photo Of the Day:   (Credits:  Panther)---Enjoy Her Different Angles

If I had a pick-up line for Cleo, it must have been "Hey Sexy, I love the way you giggle!" I know right?! This wholesome, elegant, dainty teenager is also a mom of cute kids and I bet she is a supermom as I have never heard her grumble. She thinks that life is full of surprises and come hell or high water, she will always be that girl who adores her dad's foot especially after shower, cleans up like a boss, and chuckles as of a winning beauty queen.

Now, who would like to save the last dance for the sweetheart Cleo?

Teachers Against Students' Ethics

Teachers' Weary Load

Money has become the main focus for most of us regardless of any "brass tacks" that even "kids" are soaked into the notion of doing their best to become the next Mark Zuckerberg. Bravo to the most deceiving social media that "behavior" seems not important anymore. Isn't it supposed to be action first in accordance to "au fait" ethics and social graces to be successful?  What does our Ministry of Education do to help produce quality entrepreneurs in the future?

Well, let's face it, many colleges and universities are very busy advertising how much their schools keep their promises for better jobs after graduating from a course. They feed the target market the false hopes of becoming one of those billionaires in the world while neglecting to create an up-and-coming, stomping ground which helps learners and teachers get the hang of the reality of life and how to keep the norms and standards of each culture.

For  instance, many of my students don't have the common sense to lend an ear, and I find it offhand. It seems like they don't have respect to their classmates who talk in front of the class though their attention has been called a thousand times. On my own perspectives, teachers should not only inculcate the strict grammar nor sharpen the students ability in calculation and lead them to the next level, but also mold them into amazing and wonderful individuals by showing them the ropes to behave fitly.

Let me point out that teachers are the second parents of those neophytes and they should be responsible for them.  I have observed that some lecturers accept too much teaching loads in the name of how much they can earn at the end of the month which is fine but not to the extent of losing the sense of  being effective  educators both theoretical and practical.

Believe me, it feels good to see your former students who have become role models  to the next generation not because of how many figures they have saved up and how much fame they have gotten but because of being humble, respectful, helpful, positive and intelligent.

Piece of Your Heart

I Want A Piece of Your Heart

Location:  The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Lakeview Ha Noi

I know you're perfect in your own little ways, and I can see that though I haven't held you, nor touched your "fluffy", sweet chin which says it all behind your honest, fragile, sincere shadow and soul. I can feel your love even if we are continent away from each other. I know that you have never promised to be with me soon but I believe that you've been trying your best to put up with my craziness especially when I'm on my grumpy pants. Will there be a chance for us to feel each other's warmth somewhere with cinnamon and red wine? Hmnn... no worries I can see that you're not very far from me.  HUGS!

So for the 7th song of the year is Natasha Bedingfield's, "Piece of Your Heart"Here is the link: http://mp3.zing.vn/bai-hat/Piece-Of-Your-Heart-Natasha-Bedingfield/ZWZDFCZB.html

Cheers to the Photo of The Day!

Indian Cuisine

FoodShop 45 Truc Bach, Ho Tay Westlake

Some jerks in the dorm have been driving me crazy so one way to get rid of them is the city and food escapes..and today I visited my favorite Indian resto  by the lake.  Great they had the very spicy fish Vindaloo and garlic Nan with red wine on lime and cinnamon.

Here are the shots though all of them are against the light because they were taken at 2pm..  :)

When You Believe

The 6th Song of the Year

One of the most powerful songs I could give my soul mate is Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston's, "When You Believe", because my heart and soul always believe in miracles. One day, everything will fall into place to the extent that both of us don't need to worry about anything but how to make the most out of ups and downs.

The Lake View Ha Noi

From the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

Got the guts to have a two-hour commute to Ho Tay this afternoon and was worth it because the weather was very friendly. Here are some snaps while killing time... hmmnn by the way, I remember taking photos of that couple next to my table for  their one year anniversary.  I could see the glow in their eyes when I gave them my memory card to copy the shots. Awww...I was like, "Happy One-Year Anniversary!''

Chicago Mousse and Mocha Ice Blended for My Soulmate ^^

I said look at the Lake... ;)

She was making sure the streets would glow Yellow for the visitors. ;))

Had to change seat for more snaps!

there is a small temple behind those cone hats and trees...

Solo

Wish You Were Here

With a very nice view by the lake from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, I feel like you're here with me as the wind blows my dreams towards your soul. You're special, I know I have been telling the whole dull, numb world this but I won't tire because as the river flows with the morning beam, my heart beats fast just like you have been living inside it for  seasons, or years. I bet this fragile yet innocent open book is falling for you already. Can you do her a favor never to  hate her for being so affectionate and silly?

By the way, today I got you the sweetest "Ice Mocha" so you won't fall asleep at work. Hugsss my dear!!!
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (Lakeview, Ho Tay)

So for your 5th song of the year it is Iyaz's, Solo. Definitely, she doesn't want to walk this earth solo as she won't be able to smile nor get the best laughs... no more.

Here's the link to the song:  http://mp3.zing.vn/bai-hat/Solo-Iyaz/ZW6WDZF7.html

Finally, here is the photo of the day taken from my seat in Coffee Bean. What I love most about this shot is that those cone hats stand out as if they mean business.
that island on the lake has a sacred temple

Paintball Sunday

Purple Scars

Found a very good way to sweat before the next term starts and that was "paintball", with my students. Glad I was able to properly dodge each bullet and managed to leave my kids some colorful paints. Tomorrow will be a hell of a ride especially the IELTS speaking and listening classes. Good luck on that!

After three rounds, we had lunch in KFC and headed to the cinema for a Vietnamese comedy. Awesome!!!

Here are some snaps...

Soulmate

1/5/2014 (Ha Noi-timezone) 12:06AM

Prior to the late casual talks I had last night... I ended up going to bed at 530am today. Well, obviously I woke up very late like 230pm and couldn't get my butt out of bed. Hmmnn...thought I would just snuggle under my blanket but I felt like my "soul mate" had his ability to kick me out of my lazy bones. Alright, I hit the very cold shower at almost 3pm and was a bit shocked with the vanilla scent I got from Rocher's yesterday which was supposed to be "coconut"...arrggh  I could kick myself because I felt like "ants" and "bees" were following me to the city for my too sweet "trails". Gosh!!!

So, for the 4th song dated 5th of January 2014 (Vietnam) is Natasha Bedingfield's, "Soulmate" because today I just felt like my "young man" was with me.

Here is the link of the song: http://mp3.zing.vn/bai-hat/Soulmate-Natasha-Bedingfield/ZWZBU0IO.html

____________________________________________________________________

Anyhow, I managed to get my  passion fruit delight and hazelnut coffee and of course I have to thank my "buddy" for pushing me to get up and get a life  because I was able to buy a discounted, very useful wallet in Mango. Thanks!!!

Here is the photo of the day...Enjoy!

Yellow

1/4/2014 (Ha Noi) 2:30am

If I had a song this is it and one day I will hand you in my own piece of words that go with the notes and melody of our never-ending journey to growing old together somewhere only You and I.  On the 4th day of the year, I want to give you this song:  "Yellow" from Coldplay because you are more than what you thought you could be. You're simply awesome, smart, brave, and loving.

Here is the link to the song: http://mp3.zing.vn/bai-hat/Yellow-Coldplay/ZW6IC9C7.html

There is no need for you to shave maybe nor go body-building, because I will love all your imperfections if there are any. Trust me, you're special and no one will ever understand my craziness except you... just like the lines of this song, "your skin and bones turn into something beautiful"... I know I am so cheesy hahaha...but who cares?!

Well, today I managed to make my own natural banana, honey and lemon mask.  Aww, it was amazing...and the result was softer, fresher feeling inside and out. You should try it, too!!! And here is the photo of the day...the magical and affordable natural beauty enhancer.

The Color of the Day, too!

From Sarah With Love

1/3/2014

Got up really late this morning so I was only able to accomplish 9/10 today. It started with a great chicken fillet lunch in Al Fresco's then headed to the bank for mom. It was first thing in the afternoon so I decided to get some girly stuff in Yves Rocher and finally killed time waiting for Hai and Khang in Highlands coffee. Before I went home, Hai and I ended up in the bakers for some coffee and mojito and had a Mexican dinner

(Dinner) chosen this because I feel happy today and this is my comfort food

Uhmm and today I got the second song for my soul mate and this is: "From Sarah with Love"... as I have already written in the stars telling him that I will love everything about him. I am not certain if he can put up with me but I believe that prayer changes things. Hugs to him from Ha Noi.

1/2/2014: This Song Saved My Life

Gosh, work is in a few days...and since I'm making this year awesome, I have decided to make my blogger a jar full of success, hope, courage, love, happiness and answered prayers in all walks of life.

1/2/2014 (Asia-timezone)

First is a song for him from Simple Plan: "This Song Saved My Life" as the lyrics of this song will bring both our souls together sooner or later.

 Here is the link:  http://mp3.zing.vn/bai-hat/This-Song-Saved-My-Life-Simple-Plan/ZWZC68U7.html

I have also included  a very special picture that would remind me how grateful I am for the second day of the year. For now, I will be using a photo I took last year, but on the third day and the next few days it will be a photo of the day.
this symbolizes true love and sweet life

Tick-Tock

Finally...

Gosh, finally I was able to catch up with my soul sister, Sofie. I had been bugging her in wechat and in instagram and I didn't stop until I got her a few minutes ago in Skype. Awww...  I so missed her that I wanted to curse her 4G provider for having a very slow connection. Anyhow, I pray that she will have a much healthier year ahead, will finally meet the love of her life and achieve her goals and dreams.

By the way, now I am feeling much better and I'm very excited for this year because I have already declared that God has something in store for me which will sweep me off my feet. My heart beats so fast feeling the strong energy of the tick-tock heading to the new chapters of my vulnerable, feminine side of my autobiography. Isn't it exciting?

Good morning from Ha Noi!

Am definitely taking a Leap of Faith in 2014
