Lovinni in Ha Noi

May 6th, Tuesday

It had been so long since the last time I met my dear sister/friend Lovinni. But heck yeah, today is supposed to be her official first visiting in Ha Noi.

After a bountiful breakfast at the hotel, I dragged her to the bank so I could send some money to mom, then we immediately took the bus to my dorm in Hoa Lac so I could get some clothes as I had to spend the next few days with her until she flew to Cebu.

Both of us couldn't drive a motorbike so took a cab to Hoan Kiem and ended up shopping for souvenirs, and gloated a Thai hotpot in Thai express in the center of the district.  When we got to the hotel, we changed our top and headed to Eureka where she had her Bailey's ice cream while I had my coffee and cocktail.

May 7th, Wednesday

Whether you like it or not, time flies so fast... Well, again after the quite boring breakfast in the hotel, we decided to visit Bat Trang a small village in Ha Noi where cheap, and export quality ceramics and pots are available. We happily shopped for cute stuff and the most important part of the stroll was getting our hands on the real pottery making, which I thought was awesome!

In the evening, we had fun taking evening photos along Hoan Kiem lake. We also had our dinner by the lake and headed back to the hotel. We went to bed as early as possible because honestly, we were exhausted and drained.

May 8th, 2014 Thursday

We're checked out at 1pm after our short escapade to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum where we had to buy two scarves as shorts and sleeveless weren't allowed. Oh, that was quite amazing though...and our last stop was the Presidential Palace before we went back to Yen Phu for coffee. After checking out, we had brunch at a floating resto nearby.

AT THIS MOMENT:

We're back at the hotel lobby waiting for her flight back but we will have massage first. Will surely miss you Lovinni..thanks for the most interesting and memorable time with you. See you soon...love you my dear sister. God bless you more and more...Be Safe!
